Candido hope is like a wounded horse leg ready for a race. Every thing Candido does is useless and tries very hard to make a difference. Every step he takes forward it is like he takes two steps back. He finds a job makes money then he gets robbed and sometimes does not even get paid for the job.One good thing leads to a hopeless disaster. He is like a hopeful racing horse with w wounded leg hoping for one day to get back in the race. For example when Candido got hit by the car he wanted to get up and work really bad but each time he tried to get up he was full of pain and fell right back down. Candido wanted to get back in the race to make money and survive.Just like every race horse when they are wounded and all there life all they know what to do was race. No matter what the horse tries he or she will not be as fast as before. They both have a hopeless dream to move forward and that things will get better soon. No matter how hard they get hit they will just want to get back up but as everyone knows a wounded race horse with a bad leg is usually put down because they will never will be the same racing horse and they will usually be in pain for their rest of their lives. Just like Candidos dream and hopes to move forward its time to put them to sleep. No matter what he does things will not get better and he needs to go back and start a new race. What ever he tries he does not make any improvements. Seems as if things are getting wore for him in the story. He cant proved for his family nor him self.
